Adopt a Pig is a program designed to help children and their families cope as they face their greatest challenge, fighting cancer.  Proceeds benefit a variety of support services for patients and their families.

The mission and goals of the Adopt a Pig program are simple: to provide coping mechanisms to children fighting cancer and their families.  The founders of this program, experienced these cancer treatments firsthand and understand it is neither a simple nor a short process.  By providing support to children and families, they hope to ease some of the struggles and pains associated with this emotional and physical battle.

Adopt a Pig is a 501 (c)(3) public charity.
All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

September 2008
duPont Parent Room Opened

In September Adopt a Pig dedicated a room on the Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant (BBMT) Unit at Nemours / Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The room was designed by Christa Santivasi Lutz and paid for by contributions made to the Adopt a Pig program. This room was made possible by our artists, without whom this program would not be possible. We dedicate all we do in their honor and memory.
