Family Resource Room at Nemours /
Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children In September of 2008 Adopt a Pig dedicated a room they built on duPont’s Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant (BBMT) wing. This room was designed for the use of families who have very long hospital stays and typically have children with compromised immune systems. Interior designer Christa Santivasi Lutz worked with Adopt a Pig to create a comfortable and healing space within a very controlled environment.
