In October 2009 Adopt a Pig started providing special coolers to all the families of oncology patients in the region’s hospitals. These coolers are the perfect size to use on patient visits to the hospital that can carry needed medications, drinks and snacks. This is just the start of the program’s mission to help families cope through cancer treatment.
